Fees & recovery terms

Straight terms.
In plain English.

A free initial review and a recovery arrangement you can understand before you agree to proceed.

We are paid from the recovery.

You keep 60% of every recovery. Our 40% fee comes from the recovery only. If nothing is recovered, you owe nothing.

No upfront or out-of-pocket costs.

The initial review is free and carries no obligation. There are no hourly invoices or upfront payments under this recovery arrangement.

The claim-rights arrangement.

For an accepted file, William S. Cook & Associates acquires, or purchases, the claim rights through a written agreement in order to pursue recovery. You are paid your share out of the recovery when it is made.

The agreement should be read before you proceed. Any prior release, settlement, assignment, or other party’s interest in the claim must be identified during the review.

A hypothetical illustration, not a result: If a claim produces a $50,000 recovery, you receive $30,000 and the firm’s fee is $20,000. This example illustrates the split only. It does not predict the value or outcome of your claim.

A review is not a guarantee.

Recovery depends on the individual facts, documents, coverage, agreements, and applicable law. Bill is a consultant, not an attorney; consulting services do not include legal representation.
